Sorry for not updating for a while again. I had three papers to work on the last few weeks. Also, sorry for not posting anything up for Halloween. orz

Well, a few more weeks till school is done. Then I can have my winter break!

Anyway, onto our main topic.

Here's my short review of the movie~~~

I LUUUUUUUV all the inspectors/police members that appeared in this movie

That department store scene? LOVED ALL OF IT.

I honestly thought Inspector Takagi was the "spy" at this point

I swear the "spy" was acting like a stalker here >>;

I WANT TO STEAL THE MASK SHINICHI WORE TOO

I sort of lol'd at the "spy"'s voice. IT WAS UNEXPECTED, OKAY!?

The middle part was boring...

Not much action...

WHERE IS MY SHINICHI!?

The Tokyo Tower scene? GOD.

But I thought Ran was unnecessary.

BECAUSE IT MEANS MORE NEEDLESS TROUBLE!!

I TOLD YOU SO!

ZOMG VERMOUTH ON HER MOTORCYCLE...

...Overall, it was sort of a disappointment that there weren't much BO involvement. When I expect a clash against the Black Organization, I MEAN IT!! I mean, the only BO related was the beginning, department store scenes, and the ending!! Maybe there were few others but I don't bother to remember them because they were too minor...

I think they also added too much characters. Some of them were just...useless/needless. Like the police members. What the hell was that? They just ran around all over the place and got knocked out unconscious towards the end. ...Way to treat your characters.

Oh and the "culprit" and his motives? Lame. I didn't even know what the hell was going on (maybe because I was concentrating too much on who's the "spy") because they made the most important character (at least case-wise) appear towards the END. Wha? Okay, move on.

But it's okay. The important thing is I got to see VERMOUTH and CONAN in the same scenes.

Ahhh, if only I can replace Conan with Shinichi (I sort of view Conan and Shinichi as two different persons).

Then I'd die from lack of breath.

Sorry for not updating for a while. School just started.


I'm STILL working on the comics. I know, slow pace. I decided to redo it from the start because it's just getting TOO DAMN LONG so I just cut down a lot of things. Anyhoo~, I should be finish with it in two weeks or so. Today is actually my FIRST free day in a while! No school, no work. Hurraaah~~~

But, unfortunately, I've heard some bad news. One that really shocked me...

(I couldn't find any english article so you would have to bear with my rough translation.)

From my LJ post:

"Voice Actor, Kamiya Akira, who does "Mori Kogoro" from "Detective Conan" will leave and quit the Conan anime by the end of this month. His last appearance in the anime is scheduled to be 9/26. The replacing voice actor is scheduled to be announced about a month later." (roughly translated)

NUUUUUUUU~~~ T T

I can never imagine Kogoro other than Kamiya's voice! This really sucks. I heard the reason he's leaving is due to money problems with the producers, etc.

Maaannn....even if they do replace him, it's gonna take a while for me to get used to the new voice. Like Doraemon, for instance. I still can't get used to the new ones. Errrr...

Well, after 13 years of running, you gotta expect this sort of thing. OTL



...I wanna watch the 13th movie now! Is the DVD even out yet? Does anybody know where I can watch it!? D:

It's taking longer than I expected. > >; I think it's gonna be like 20-some pages when I'm done. D: Seriously. At this rate, I don't think I'll be able to work on/upload the rest of the other short comics I've been planning on making. Oh well, I still have the rest of the year to work on it. I'll work on my own pace. No need to rush.

As for colored pictures. I'm out of ideas. OTL

Maybe I'll start on that 100 themes thing that I gave up a while ago.

...Anyway, to the next topic.

Has anybody watched "Hetalia"? I know, I know. As usual, I'm so far behind. But ZOMG I'm so obsessed with it. ARTHURxKIKU, FTW! All the characters are so friggin' adorable. I love them all but my favorite would have to be Kiku. He. Is. Definitely. Uke. in my dictionary. XD And then there's Arthur, Yao(?), Ivan, Hera, Sadik, Bash, and others. Yep, they're all adorable. I'm so obsessed with it so much that I've been abusing and watching videos from Nico Nico (Japanese video streaming site).

Any Hetalia/Kiku fans out there~!?

I'm trying to upload more often than usual since I probably won't be able to once classes start again. I'm currently working on a few short comics and this recent update is one of them. I hope to be able to update all of them before school starts. I'm working on a rather slow pace but please bare with me~


So then, I'll probably be uploading more comics than art. The arts are a put on hold until I'm done with the comics. Not that it matters since I hardly upload art anyway.
